University College, Kurukshetra University, Kurukshetra is a co-educational institution offering courses upto undegraduate level . It enjoys the singular distinction of being a college maintained by Kurukshetra University, Kurukshetra, which is well-reputed at the national level in general and in North India in particular. The college deservedly prides itself on having a well-qualified teaching staff, a vastly spacious playground and profusely equipped science laboratories. The wholly computerized library with a vast collection of books and journals and internet facility to the users maintains its unstinted records of being a holy place for the acquisition of knowledge for those who pursue perfection and excellence. It is housed in one of the oldest and artistically planned buildings ever come up on the most hygienic and pollution-free environment of the University Campus. There are two hostels – one for boys and another for girls – specifically ear-marked for the students admitted to the college. The college has all the three faculties viz. Arts, Commerce and Science for the undergraduate students. The college has the singular distinction of introducing Five Year Integrated Courses in M.Sc. Engineering Physics , M.Sc. Bio Technology and M.Sc. Honours Economics. Currently as many as 27 different departments having nearly 2500 students on rolls are being run by the college, covering all the disciplines– Arts, Commerce, Science, BTM and Honours courses in three subjects. The college has a team of 67 full time teachers and 40 teachers as guest faculty. The non-teaching staff consisting of 67 employees is fully cooperating in the functioning of the college.
